The indigo blue color was obtained in the past by mixing cornflower destined to whiten clothes with lime.

As a curiosity there are 3 theories that the farmhouse was painted blue:

To frighten the devil and all the bad spirts, a superstition most likely to be of Mediterranean origin
To mark the facades of the house where single girls lived in.
And most likely, to deter flies and mosquitoes

Stone

They are large and reflect the ancient origin of the farmhouse. The larger the stone, the greater value it holds.

The farmhouse has old stores that were used to keep water, wine and cereals.

The press was used to extract the oil by pressing the olives

Mill wheels

Currently in the farmhouse we can find 3: In the pool, in the jacuzzi and outside in the garden.

The Old Kitchen

Now it is "l'habitació Antiga Cuina". In this room we have the old fireplace where the fire was lit and the embers were put in the kitchen. The dishes used to be washed in the sink, and the charcoal from the fire was often used to bleach clothes. The room has a darker stone color because of fire and smoke which over the years has blackened the stone.

Medieval Tower

Square and with unique views that were used to watch oncoming people. Today it is a unique viewpoint that allows you to observe La Panadella, the Catalan Pyrenees, Montsec (Ager), Valleys of Andorra, mountains of Pallars, San Ramón and also the castles of Los Silos, Florejacs, Mont Cortés and El Aranyó.
